It’s a New Dawn, It’s a New Day, It’s a New Way of Shopping

The current COVID-19 pandemic has changed the world we live in. From how we shop to interacting with friends and family, COVID-19 has radically altered our existence and how we go about our lives. Derriere de Soie has also changed its bra-fitting and shopping methods and in this blog post we will be sharing with you how we have changed and evolved during the pandemic.

Currently, we are taking customers on an “appointment only” basis. This means that all shopping must be scheduled ahead of time via our online scheduler or calling the location that you would like to shop at (online scheduling preferred). Roanoke is open for appointments Thursday through Sunday 12pm to 4:30pm. Charlottesville has available appointments 11am to 3:30pm Tuesday through Saturday and Sunday 12pm to 2:30pm. Please arrive by yourself so that we can limit exposure to a minimum.

Derriere de Soie’s fitting process has also temporarily changed. When you arrive, please knock on the door. A staff member will open it for you and guide you to our sanitation station that has hand sanitizer. Once you are in, a fitter will guide you to a fitting room. We will instruct you about how to measure yourself (we have tape measures for you to use). After that step, we will select a bras that we think will be fit you. As always, you will try on the bra and our fitter will check to see how it fits and either pick another size or if the selected bra fits, you can try on more in your size. You are also more than welcome to try on our large selection of matching bottoms, loungewear, and lingerie to add to your new wardrobe. We will then take anything that does not work for you and put it on our quarantine rack. Once your purchase is complete, we will then open the door for you so you can be on your way to enjoy the rest of the day. Besides in store shopping, we also offer curbside pick-up as well as phone orders that can be shipped to you for a minimal cost.
