Join us July 18th or 19th for a Shop for a Cause event benefitting one of our favorite local organizations, both for the work they are doing and for the impact that they make on our community.
The Charlottesville Free Clinic provides basic healthcare, dental services, some specialist assistance, and pharmacy services to un-or-under-insured patients in the Charlottesville area, and they also partner with other non-profits to provide services they aren’t able to perform – such as mammography, at little or no cost to patients.
Their emphasis on preventative care, disease management, and patient dignity is so incredibly important, especially during a time of great uncertainty for many, with upcoming Medicaid cuts, and ever-increasing insurance premiums. The Free Clinic is a service that we wish, quite frankly, didn’t need to exist, but we’re incredibly grateful for the work they do, and are honored to support them.
