It would be so easy to sit and think “why me?!” but I was really touched by Jamie’s message of hope for both herself, and the wider community. Jamie Via was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer with no family history or genetic markers, and has turned her experience into one of advocacy for early detection and screening.
We’re donating 10% of in-store sales August 15-17th, 2025 to the “I Get To” foundation to support access to early screenings – screening events are scheduled through the fall, and we want to make sure as many people are able to be screened as possible.
If you’d like to support Jamie’s work in another way, there’s also a great Tuck Cancer event being held on September 14th at Charlottesville Day School – more details here.
It is a privilege to continue to support causes that we feel aligned with, and this is in large part because of your continued support. We’re grateful to be building a community that we believe in alongside you.
